Scaling down the object will probably cause a problem here first. The cockpit canopy is the most delicate part to print because of the thin lines. It does fit the print bed on my Ender 3 (just) This is not recommended and I did not print it this way, but if you're brave and want to try an all in one, this is for you. I have produced a complete STL with every part arranged on the bed. Resin printing would produce a finer surface. Glueing of the final parts is necessary, with filling of joins and sanding highly recommended for FDM prints.

I printed it with tree supports, sliced via Cura 4.5 and printed in PLA at 200/50 temp. The lines where it breaks are lines that appear on the model or can be easily hidden with filler. I have arranged the parts to cause minimal disruption to a final print and require a minimum of support.

The rear wings will rotate and the cockpit can be printed with transparent windows with the cockpit interior modelled.įor further details there is an included README.txt: The model is split into various parts, along natural lines in the model to minimise odd joins. The design of the Badger has often been mistaken for the Heavy Starfury briefly glimpsed at in " A Voice in the Wilderness, Part II" though it is also a two-seater Starfury, it's an unrelated design. The iconic Thunderbolt from Babylon 5.Like the Olympus class corvette, the Badger-class Starfury was designed by Tim Earls for the TV Movie " In the Beginning", though unlike the Olympus it never made it to screen.

Unlike the SA-23E however, the Badger features a two person crew, seated abreast at the front of the fighter's elongated fuselage. Similar in design to the SA-23E model Starfury, the Badger employed the same four arm mounted multi-directional engine pod design that allows for a high degree of manoeuvrability, while keeping the flight crew close to the centre, thereby minimising the effect of G-forces on the crew while performing extreme manoeuvres. The Badger-class Starfury was a long range fighter-bomber used by Earthforce during the Earth-Minbari War. Please see Starfury (disambiguation) for other meanings.
